This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations, refunds, and related queries for services provided through our Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) platform.
Once a bill payment or recharge transaction has been successfully initiated and processed through the Automate GPS app, the transaction is considered final and cannot be canceled. This is due to the real-time nature of the bill payment process with respective service providers.
In case a transaction fails due to technical errors, network issues, or incorrect details provided, the transaction may be canceled by our system automatically, and you will be notified. In such cases, the refund process will be initiated as per the refund policy outlined below.
If a payment fails but the amount is debited from your bank account or wallet, the transaction will be automatically refunded. Refunds will typically be processed within 5 to 7 business days. However, the timeline may vary depending on your bank or payment service provider.
In the event of duplicate payments made for the same bill or recharge, please contact our support team immediately. Upon verification, we will initiate a refund for the extra amount within 7 business days.
If a payment exceeds the amount required by the biller, Automate GPS will work with the respective biller to resolve the issue. Refunds for overpayments are subject to the policies of the biller and may take additional time for processing.
Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used during the transaction. For example, if a credit card was used for payment, the refund will be processed to the same credit card.
Refunds will generally be processed within 5 to 7 business days from the date of the refund request or from the date the failed transaction is reported. However, this timeline may vary depending on the payment method and the bank involved.
Once a refund has been processed, you will be notified via email or SMS. You can also track the status of your refund in the "Transaction History" section of the Automate GPS app.
Any convenience fees or processing charges collected at the time of the transaction are non-refundable, except in cases where the transaction has failed or was canceled due to a technical error.
Automate GPS processes bill payments on behalf of various billers and service providers. Refund policies may differ based on the terms and conditions of the respective biller. We will assist you in contacting the biller for any disputes, but the final decision on refunds may rest with the biller.
